Upper limb surgery is one of the most advanced surgical specialties of the Orthopaedics in recent years, thanks to technological developments such as arthroscopic techniques which have completely changed the way of tackling shoulder pathologies.

We cannot forget either all the progress ensued in the prosthetic field. Nowadays many replacements of the different parts of the upper limb are performed (shoulder, elbow, phalanges) with the total guarantee and the best results for patients.

In spite of these developments, the most frequent pathologies that we deal with everyday are:  carpal tunnel syndrome, trigger finger or epicondylitis. We would like to talk about them in a special section.
